How to prepare for CCNA

How I Prepared for the CCNA Exam?

My preparations

I had less than 2 months to prepare for this exam. I had no experience in this field, so I relied on YouTube for guidance. Every day on this platform, I watched content related to CCNA topics (about 6 hours), and then I practiced the acquired knowledge (about 2 hours) using the 'Packet Tracer' application, which is designed for simulating configurations and setups. After watching videos on all the areas, I reviewed those where I was the weakest. And 2 day before I took the test I watch all wideos agan to review.

Summary

To prepare for the CCNA exam in less than two months, I relied on daily YouTube videos for learning and Packet Tracer for practical practice. I reviewed weak areas and conducted a final review before the exam. This intensive approach helped me gain the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

My experiences (as non-native English speaker)

Before test

When I took the CCNA exam, it went like this: I arrived at the prearranged time and place, where I presented two forms of identification (in my case, a national ID and a driver's license). Then, the conditions were explained to me: I had 150 minutes for the actual test, plus 15 minutes to confirm the terms, and an additional 15 minutes at the end to review the test.

I then had to store my backpack and all my clothing in a locker, which I locked afterwards.

During test

At the beginning of the test, I confirmed the terms, and then a test with 89 questions, including 3 labs, was generated for me. There were 4 types of questions, which you can practice in my quiz. The keyboard is set to the English layout during the labs. In the labs, I always had two tasks to complete.

End

After finishing the test, my result was shown in the application, and a printout of the result was given to me. Then I collected my things and went home.

What I had available during the test?

For the test, I had access to their notepad, markers, earplugs, tissues, and a dictionary from my language to English.
